There are so many conflicting opinions on attracting money, and whether it’s even possible. In this article I cut through the myths and provide real world, verifiable truths. Truths you can learn, implement and use to attract money at will.

Myth #1: To attract means it will magically appear without action

The term to attract money is often misunderstood. It does not mean do you do a bunch of stuff then money magically appears (sorry to burst any bubbles). More times than not, action will need to occur, that’s just a consequence of the world we live in.

But…the action does not have to be forced or a struggle. That’s actually counter-productive.

When you’re correctly attracting money, action occurs…but it’s more like the action is occurring through you. You enjoy the action and what’s more, it’s deadly effective. This is what I refer to as being at ease and allowing the action instead of forcing it.

Myth #2: The whole idea of “attracting” money is silly and you should just work hard

This is the complete opposite end of the spectrum to myth 1. And…it’s about as true as myth #1 too.

I can provide the ultimate proof to that. Think back to your personal life experience…have you ever work very, very hard to “make” something happen…yet it didn’t?

No matter what you did, it just didn’t come together…

Of course you have.

And even when you did get what you wanted, did the victory taste as sweet as you thought it would? Or…did you immediately move onto the next thing, almost completely ignoring that fleeting moment of success.

That’s how forced action tends to end up.

Yet, think back to another experience where you were enjoying what you did. It was a pleasure. There wasn’t a distinct sense of forcing or trying to make a particular outcome occur. And…yet…you inevitably got what you wanted.

The art of attracting money is essentially creating the second scenario over and over again, at will. It’s the art of finding that space of ease, and lack of attachment to the outcome…then taking action from there.

In that space, your action is far more effective and FUN!

Myth #3: There is one magical formula to attracting all the money in the world

No matter what anyone tells you, this just isn’t true. I mean, there are a ton of proven formulas that have worked for others, but following that formula exactly isn’t a guarantee you’ll attract money yourself. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a terrific starting point.

Unfortunately, as human beings, we all grow up with a unique set of filters and beliefs. Something they like to refer to as your “map of reality” in NLP.

Any kind of learning you do, will need to either fit into this map, or change it somehow. The principles that apply to attracting money will often require a shift in that map of reality in order for them to be accepted…and perform their magic.

Getting into that magical space referred to in myth 2, involves personal experimentation and learning from that. It’s the process of “teasing” yourself into that state over and over. I know that sounds a little abstract, but it’s the truth!

You’ll be maneuvering around your belief system, picking off believable goals, creating a positive spiral of belief in the process. Once you’ve got that inherent belief in the process, which comes from real world success…you’re set.
