The Underestimated Power of a Smile :)

beautiful garden

To cut a long story short…what you vibrate in alignment with, you attract…

And, your emotions are a guide as to how you’re vibrating…

So if you’re feeling good…you’re attracting good things. No wonder people that seem happy tend to have more things that make them happy appear in their lives.

Here’s the interesting part. From NLP we know that our physiology plays in a significant role in determining how we feel.

That means…the way you’re standing, the tone in which you’re talking, your facial expressions all dictate how you feel in this moment.

Now, we all know that by thinking happier or more positive thoughts, we begin to feel better. But sometimes that’s just too much effort (or maybe I’m just lazy).

So a cool shortcut, is to just alter your physiology so that it’s more positive, fun and happy. That literally changes the way you feel – we know this from countless NLP and psychological studies.

And one of the coolest ways to do is to smile more! Simply take more opportunities to smile.

To take it even further, when a cool life situation that makes you happy comes up…take a moment to really enjoy it…and TAP in the feeling. Use the usual EFT points. Here’s a reference: http://attractingabundancehq.com/how-to-do-eft-a-video-tutorial/

What this does is…deepen the experience. For example, I recall doing this once while stumbling across a beautiful rose garden. As I tapped in the vivid colors, sweet scent and serene feeling…it all seemed to get even more intense. An even stronger good feeling – now who wouldn’t want that :)

I also find that it makes the same feeling more accessible later on.

Give it a shot and let me know how it goes…

I didn’t know that EFT could also be used on positive emotions to strengthen them further. Will definitely give this a try

I did this and it gave great results. When I laughed so hard at a joke, I tried tapping in the feeling of being really really happy. This made feel like I always wanted to laugh later on =D

While you were tapping, where you verbally stating to yourself what you were witnessing? Or did you simply tap while concentrating on the feelings?
