Some people tend to associate a positive attitude with a bright and smiling face which is why when you frown, they tend to see you as a negative person. But should one always wear a smile on their face if they claim to have a positive attitude?

The answer is no.

Creating Abundance – 2 Harmful Myths About Creating Abundance

Being positive is a mindset, meaning it is defined by how you react on certain situations – not by constantly plastering a smile on your face, which tends to be a bit scary for me. Being upset sometimes is okay, you are human. It is how you shift your gears from being upset to a positive mindset that defines if you are a positive person or not.

Never think that being an optimist means you can never have negative emotions ever – that just isn’t the case. You can stumble, you can fall, but as long as you can get back up, you can get right back into the groove.

But remember, I don’t mean to say that you don’t need to smile. Of course, please do, it is good for you =)
